Child trading is a misunderstood industry. We’re half way between an adoption agent and a talent scout, but we don’t enjoy the same degree of public support as either. Child trading firms do not break laws, traffic humans, or force anyone in to a life that is not perfectly safe.

Myth: You don’t have the right to trade children

Yes, you do! The transfer of legal guardianship of a child is regulated but not restricted. Just as sure as an aunt or grandparent may take custody of a child, so may a stranger, with the court recorded consent of all parties.

Myth: Child trading is bad for the kids

Only if by "bad" you mean "good." Kids get out of households where, for whatever reason, they are not wanted, and enjoy placement in a home where the parents will actually tolerate them.

Myth: Child trading breaks up families

While technically true on the surface, the other, equal truth is overlooked. For every family we break up, there is another family we make.

Myth: Child trading is the same thing as "child selling"

Though a limited number of trades do involve financial compensation, these are the exception and not the rule. Unlike adoption agencies where mothers are often paid as much as $40,000 to sell their unborn child, our agency averages less than $1,000 in cash changing hands. How it can be a good thing to buy an unwanted child, but not to trade, is something we’ll never understand.

Myth: There aren’t any good kids up for trade

Nothing could be further from the truth. As sure as beauty is in the eye of the beholder, value is on the spreadsheet of the particular. If you have a 2002 convertible and need a 2002 SUV, you could trade for value in kind and both parties would get the perfect deal. This is almost exactly the same, except that it’s with people instead of cars.

Myth: There is no Biblical support for trading children

Yes there is, though perhaps not gay children. Please read our comprehensive article "Kid Swapping and the Bible – the Match Made in Heaven."

Myth: Trading kids has bad long term consequences

This is absolutely not the case. We don’t follow up with of our past shoppers, but we have found that many parents benefit so much from the experience that they come back to trade kids again and again, some as often as once a year.

Myth: The World is Flat

No, it isn’t. The twin towers were not taken down by a controlled explosion, the illuminati hasn’t fixed the Oscars since the 70s and Sasquatch, if he ever existed, was driven to extinction in the 1930s. The world is not flat. Even Columbus knew it, and you are smarter than him, it’s time for you to come to terms with reality and start putting the interests of the child first
